Hi

We are just back from our weekend at Center Parcs - absolutely shattered but it was worth it. The boys had such a great time but my goodness we packed a lot in to 3 nights and 4 days. You take it for granted when you are fit and healthy as this time last year I was undiagnosed but that's just the hand you are dealt with and nothing can alter that. At least my wee dog is talking to me again as he was definitely in the huff when we collected him from the boarding kennels. Now to move forward our next project - adopting a retired greyhound - I've not decided whether we are crazy or not?????

Happy days....LOL

Well done you!!
I hear that greyhounds make very good pets.
It is so sad that these dogs are dismissed once their usefulness has run out.
We have a little adopted westie and would love to have another dog but he was very insecure when we had him and although he has come on leaps and bounds, he is very territorial with other dogs. It would not work.
What is the little dog that you have now?
Good luck.BigGrin

Hello everyone

Hope you are all doing good?

Zena-Mary we have a jack Russell but he is quite big for the breed and does not display typical terrier traits. He is quite a couch potato.

We have met a dog that our local Greyhound rescue has and Chico is going to meet him on Monday. We are all hoping the meeting goes well as he is such a lovely dog and we would love to give him a home.

Hello folks

I am writing this with a big smile on my face and a happy heart. The meeting went far better than we expected so as a result we are allowed to formally adopt Jack on Friday and bring him home. Chico was not in the least bit bothered and I am sure he knows his place on the sofa is still safe.
